About Me

My name is Cassandra Geslak, born in Barrington, Illinois, raised in Cobham, England, a little town not too far from London. I am the youngest of three girls, which means I was born with two built-in best friends and lots of clothes. Growing up I was always known as the “funny one” in the family, which is where my love for making people laughing and laughing myself stems from. I am a lover of adventure, tacos, exercise, dogs and traveling.

I am both an American and British citizen, making me not only a dual citizen, but also a “third culture kid.” I grew up saying “cheers” instead of “thanks” and learned how to drive on the “wrong” side of the road. I believe that being raised abroad shaped me into the person I am today. While living in England I had the opportunity to travel to over 20 different counties and it has taught me that being placed outside your comfort zone, and interacting with different cultures is the best way to find yourself and grow.

I graduated a semester early from Auburn University in December 2017. I majored in public relations and minored in business. My love for writing and people is what drove me to choose a career in such a fast-paced industry. I am an ambitious go getter, I believe that nothing worth having comes easy, so in order to get what you want, you have to work hard for it. My strong work ethic is the driving force behind my success. I have taken advantage of every opportunity given to me during my time at Auburn. The experiences I have had have made me stronger, confident and wiser.

I am forever grateful for the Auburn Family and all of the memories I made throughout my three and half years at college. My education has given me the confidence that I will enter the public relations field prepared.
